University of York - library refurbishment

We were introduced to the client and worked with the design team to suggest an adequate table system and footprint for the refurbishment of the JB Morrell Library building on campus. Following a site mock-up and a competitive tender process, we were appointed to supply desks, tables and large numbers of chairs on castors over various floors. Due to the complicated nature of the refurbishment programme, we arranged to deliver the furniture into site storage and returned to site on the client’s request to complete installation in phases, as parts of the building became ready.

The new library space is a great improvement and there has been a great deal of positive feedback from staff and students alike.
