Matthew Boulton College

We were originally invited to propose options for this huge new-build college campus in city centre Birmingham via a large Architectural practice.

Due to the complex nature and size of the project, we were involved in a huge amount of specification meetings before the supply contract was tendered to various suppliers in Spring 2005 and we were subsequently invited to present our furniture to the decision making project team.

We supplied the college’s furniture in its entirety over several floors: stacking chairs and tables for use as classroom furniture, meeting and IT furniture, café seating and tables, office and administration furniture and storage. The installation of the project was carefully managed over several weeks and was hailed as a huge success. Since opening the college has seen a huge increase in student numbers due to the quality of the scheme.
